Jerome A. McCarthy opened his firm in December 2018 after spending a number years working for a large firm in Dublin and a local firm in the Cork area. Jerome is from Skibbereen and graduated with an LLB in Law in 1999 from The University of Glamorgan, he worked as a Legal Executive for a number of years in a number of large firms in Dublin before qualifying as a solicitor with a General Practice in Tipperary.
Jerome has a vast amount of experience in all areas of litigation, but he also has experience in conveyancing and probate, services the firm also offers. Jerome A. McCarthy & Co have acted successfully for a number of high profile clients in the District, Circuit and High Court.
Eileen joined the firm in 2020. Eileen is from Cork and graduated with a Degree in Law and Irish from University College Cork (UCC) in 2012. As part of her degree she interned in the Office of the Attorney General. She obtained a Higher Diploma in Employment Law from the King’s Inns in 2015. She qualified as a solicitor with the Law Society of Ireland in January 2019. She is also qualified as an Irish speaking solicitor and is registered on the Law Society Clar na Gaeilge. Prior to joining Jerome A McCarthy & Co, Eileen worked and trained in city law firms in Dublin, Belfast and Cork.
Eileen has extensive experience in the areas of general litigation, debt collection and employment law.
